I created this painting from a photo I took in my mother's neighborhood
in the Town Neck section of the town of Sandwich on Cape Cod. It was
from a photo I took on a walk one Thanksgiving. I always loved the way
the moon rose over the ocean, behind that unique tree. Now I am thankful
I took the photo I used for this painting since the tree is now
gone...cut down to build a new giant style beach house I have decided to call this "The Tree That Was".
