Saranac River Near Ampersand
One summer my husband, our two dogs and I went on a road trip in our 1978 VW camper up to Lake Champlain, across the lake on the ferry, then explored the northern part of the Adirondack Park. One day we hiked up Ampersand Mountain. Another day we explored the Saranac River in that area, where I took the photo that inspired this painting.
