Remembering Bubblechick

My family and I have been attending music since before the kids were born, and ever since, even when they were babies. We have met so many amazing and wonderful people through the years. One of them was Andrea, who everyone called affectionately "Bubblechick" because she always created these giant glycerin bubbles at the festivals. The first time I met her was at a festival in 2001 when my children were almost 3 and 5. I was worried because they kept trying to pop her bubbles. I went over to apologize, but she said it was all fine and she loved having the little kids enjoy her bubbles. It was so sad for me to learn a couple of years later that Andrea had cancer that she died from in 2004 at a very young age. She touched so many people in her much too short life. This painting is in her memory.
