Purple Flower
My husband enjoys finding fun frames for me. One day he brought home a long, narrow, green barn board frame with a three-windowed mat. After thinking for awhile what I could paint to go well with the frame, I settled on single flowers from around my yard and a Keene park. These are tiny 4x6 inch paintings, so the flowers were painted on a very small scale. I took the photo from which I painted this flower in my front yard. I believe it is myrtle.
