Old Georgia Train
My mother's longest friend from Cape Cod moved south quite a few years ago after her adult children moved to Georgia and Florida. Her daughter's son lives in Georgia and when he was younger he loved trains. A few years ago she sent me the photo for this painting and asked me to paint this for her daughter, my childhood friend. After I finished the painting and mailed it to Georgia, my mother's friend said, this is such a universal image, I hope you will use it for art prints and cards. So, at her request, here it is - and she was right - it is well loved!
