Nepali Sherpa
One year my father-in-law and brother-in-law took a trekking trip to Nepal. They emailed some photos from their trip to my husband, including the one that inspired this painting. The textures, colors, patterns and the composition really interested me. I am also so amazed how much the sherpas carry on their backs, walking all that way in sometimes flimsy boots. They are incredible people indeed!
