Monadnock from Marlow Hill

I live near the bottom of the west side of Marlow Hill. A walk I really enjoy to take with my dogs is hiking up the steep hill on the dirt road, then following the dead end section of Marlow Hill Road to where I come to a pasture. The trees have unfortunately been growing up over the years, but thankfully there is still this wonderful view of Mount Monadnock to the southeast in Jaffrey, New Hampshire. The mountain is much farther away in reality, but on a chilly November day I used my telephoto lens to capture the picture I used for this painting.
