Ice Storm Branches
In 1998 there was a terrible ice storm in the northeast. When the power went out I had no way of knowing how much worse the ice was in other places. The view from my windows was a twinkling wonderland. I took the photo that I used for this painting from my back window. It is amazing that something so beautiful when there is just a little bit can be so damaging when there is too much.
