Dog Day in Nepal
One year my father-in-law and brother-in-law took a trekking trip to Nepal. They emailed some photos from their trip to my husband, including the one that inspired this painting. I fell in love with the photo and the moment it captured. Later when I was talking to my brother-in-law about the photo he said he took the picture while he was resting and waiting for his father to catch up. The dog was just sitting there staring at him. He said, "The dog let me stay for awhile and we had some really good conversations." Great story!
