Contemplation
My husband and I got married three weeks after college graduation. For our honeymoon we traveled for 2 months from my family's house on Cape Cod, across the country to the west coast, and then back again in our 1978 VW camper. One of our stops was the Boundary Waters in Minnesota. We canoed and camped for three days. My husband took this picture of me sitting on the shore of our first campsite on Horseshoe Island in Lake Three. I call the painting "Contemplation", but really I was huddled from all the mosquitoes! It was a wonderful trip, filled with challenges, adventures and many new sights for us.
