Chilling in the Merrimack
I took the photo I used for this painting during one of my week-long camping trips at Salisbury Beach State Reservation in Massachusetts. I love to watch the tide come and go in the Merrimack River and see the many birds and harbor seals come to rest of the rocks as they are exposed. I love the way seals look like they are smiling!
