Central Square, Keene
I painted this image of the United Church of Christ at the head of Central Square in Keene, New Hampshire for the cover of a brochure I was illustrating for Antioch University New England where I work. Since I needed to leave room for the program title, I used artistic license and painted much fewer branches than one would see standing from that spot. The church has a an long and interesting history. This is the fourth "meetinghouse" in this location, and it was dedicated in 1788.
