Brewster Mudflats
For years I spent time on a message board connected to a music festival we used to attend every summer. Over the years, many of us on the boards got to know each in person and we became like an online family. We shared our photos and artwork on the boards as well. One of the "boardies" took the photo I used for this painting at sunset on the low tide mudflats in Brewster on Cape Cod. I loved the amazing colors that he captured, and I was grateful that he let me paint from his photo.
