My family and I love going to music festivals in the summer and in order to stay connected I have participated in a festival message board for many years. During that time, many of the "boardies" became good friends both on and off the computer. Several times we have organized craft gift exchanges where we were assigned the name of a person for whom to create a gift, and we each received a gift from someone else. One year the person I had was a very creative and flamboyant woman. I had a great square frame in my art room and filled it with this fun painting, using masking fluid for the stars so I could have lots of fun with the washes. Being such a meticulous painter in general, it is fun to "play" with my paints sometimes!
