Rockport Storm
I found the photo I used for this painting in a loose collection of my grandfather's photos. It said "Rockport" on the back. I am not sure if it is Rockport, Massachusetts or Rockport, Maine, but I liked the mood of the scene and wanted to paint it. My grandparents loved to take long, meandering drives from their home in Walpole, Massachusetts, camera in tow, even on stormy days like this.
