Harvest Song
Each year Marlow holds a harvest festival in early October. Part of the harvest festival is an art exhibit of local artists in Murray Hall, the former grange hall. This particular year while I was covering the hostess table at the art exhibit inside Murray Hall, I heard plinky string music outside. Wondering what it was, I walked outside to see the Shanty Town Four set up on the front lawn. Of course I took pictures, knowing it would be a wonderful painting. There are so many stories connected to this painting. Very special indeed.
